About the Role:

The Digital Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's online presence and engagement with various stakeholders in the health care and social assistance sector. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital communication strategies that effectively convey the organization's mission, services, and initiatives. The manager will oversee the production of newsletters, social media content, and other digital materials to ensure consistent messaging and audience engagement. By leveraging public relations and community marketing techniques, the Digital Communications Manager will foster strong relationships with the community and enhance the organization's reputation. Ultimately, this role aims to drive awareness and support for the organization's goals through innovative and effective digital communication efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital communications, public relations, or community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the health care or social assistance industry.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and email marketing platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital communication strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Create, design, and distribute newsletters and email campaigns to engage with the community and stakeholders.
  • Manage social media outreach efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze digital communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

Skills:

The required skills in public relations and community relations will be utilized to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and the community. Audience engagement techniques will be essential for creating compelling content that resonates with diverse groups. Proficiency in medical communication will ensure that all messaging is accurate and sensitive to the needs of the audience.
