Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Recruiter based in Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how a high-growth B2B SaaS organization attracts and hires exceptional sales talent. You will own full-cycle recruiting across Sales and other go-to-market functions, partnering closely with senior leaders and hiring managers. The role combines hands-on sourcing and candidate evaluation with strategic workforce planning and recruiting process improvement. You’ll use hiring data and market insights to optimize pipelines, improve quality of hire, and make informed recommendations. Success requires balancing quality, diversity, and hiring velocity while building sustainable talent pools for future growth. You’ll operate with significant autonomy in a high-talent-bar environment that values creativity, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement. This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys both strategic problem-solving and getting deeply involved in the details of every search.
- Own end-to-end recruiting strategies for Sales and other Go-to-Market roles, from intake and market assessment through sourcing, evaluation, offer, and close.
- Partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to clarify requirements, diagnose hiring challenges, assess the talent market, and recommend effective recruiting strategies.
- Attract, evaluate, and hire high-quality candidates while maintaining a strong focus on quality of hire rather than simply maximizing hiring volume.
- Build innovative sourcing strategies that complement inbound applications and referrals, using Boolean search, talent mapping, targeted outreach, and other proactive approaches.
- Develop and maintain high-quality talent pools that create a sustainable recruiting infrastructure for future organizational growth.
- Use recruiting data and pipeline insights to identify root causes, adjust hiring practices, and improve recruiting outcomes.
- Develop scalable recruiting processes designed to maintain high hiring standards as the organization grows.
- Balance diversity, candidate quality, pipeline health, and hiring volume to deliver against business objectives.
- Manage competing priorities independently and maintain strong execution across multiple searches and stakeholders.
- Proven track record as a Go-to-Market recruiter, with significant experience recruiting within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience across Sales, G&A, Customer Success, or related business functions, ideally within a high-growth technology company.
- Experience operating autonomously and leading searches from initial qualification through successful hire, with the credibility to partner directly with senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of sales recruiting, talent markets, sourcing methodologies, candidate assessment, and proactive talent mapping.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics, identify pipeline trends and root causes, and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to design creative and differentiated sourcing strategies beyond traditional inbound and referral channels.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of outreach, screening conversations, and concurrent searches without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong judgment and attention to detail, with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional candidate experiences and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Curiosity about the recruiting industry and enthusiasm for evolving recruiting practices, technology, and data-driven approaches.
- Competitive salary and equity package.
- 10-year exercise window for stock options.
- Unlimited paid time off, with approximately four weeks recommended annually.
- Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US, with plans to expand support internationally as circumstances evolve.
- Generous budget for equipment, software, and home-office furniture.
- $100/month education budget, with additional support for higher-cost learning opportunities such as conferences subject to manager approval.
- Comprehensive health insurance for US employees and dependents, with premiums fully covered.
- Opportunity to work remotely from Canada, with flexibility designed to support productivity and work-life balance.
- Opportunity to join a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment with strong product-market fit, a high talent bar, and significant room to contribute to the evolution of modern recruiting.
