Grain Production Operator

ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grain Production Operator to join our team at the Cottage Grove Grain facility. This vital role supports the seamless operation of our grain handling and storage processes, ensuring the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain grain elevator systems, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers

- Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments, ensuring accurate measurement and documentation

- Maintain optimal grain conditions through proper handling and storage practices

- Handle bulk and packaged fertilizer and chemical products safely and efficiently

-- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities

- Work year-round in both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to varying weather conditions

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in grain handling, agricultural operations, or related fields preferred

- Knowledge of grain elevator systems and equipment operation

- Ability to accurately measure and record inventory data

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor conditions

- Flexibility to work year-round, including in varying weather conditions
