Job Description:

Seeking operator for custom application equipment, to apply fertilizer and chemicals to customers' fields safely, accurately, efficiently and timely, as well as promote the proper use of crop protection products.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for accurate application of fertilizer and/or chemicals per blend sheet specifications
• Maintains and repairs equipment according to maintenance schedule, policies and procedures
• Communicates with managers and sales staff to assure safe, accurate quality, efficient and timely application
• Works in any area of operation or production as assigned
• Interacts with customers in a professional manor
• Supervises drivers in product transfer operations
• Works safely following safety rules, regulations and PPE requirements
• Exhibits attitude and actions consistent with policies
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership in his/her work and application equipment
• Sales to new and existing customers

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills

Qualifications:

• Agricultural background
• Preferred to have a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (Will help to get License)
• Preferred to have an applicators license (Will Train to get License)
• Chemical application experience and education preferred
• Good driving record
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Physical requirements: ability to lift 75 lbs
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Be able to work 40-50 hours a week and longer during peak seasons
