Join the Park Opportunity Garden

At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.

The "Opportunity Garden" Framework

We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:

  • NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.

  • GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.

  • THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.

The Role: Landscape Construction Leadership (Lead Hand & Foreman positions available)

While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the expertise. In this role, you will be the key driver of on-site execution, productivity, and installation quality—working alongside your crew and leading them to transform technical drawings into stunning residential and commercial landscapes.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Technical Leadership & Field Coordination: Lead and work alongside your crew to execute complex scopes, manage daily task sequencing, and provide hands-on coaching to keep projects moving efficiently.

  • Drawing Interpretation & Precision: Translate blueprints, specifications, elevation requirements, and grades into executable tasks while ensuring site layout and drainage accuracy in real-time.

  • Quality Stewardship: Conduct ongoing site inspections to identify and correct deficiencies immediately, ensuring the final product meets municipal inspections and client standards.

  • Resource & Equipment Coordination: Manage daily site staging, safely operate and maintain light to heavy landscape machinery, and track production progress against the project budget.

  • Safety Advocacy: Enforce a "safety-first" culture by conducting daily tailgate meetings, completing hazard assessments (FLHAs), and ensuring full compliance with OH&S regulations.

  • Winter Versatility: Transition to our snow and ice management operations from November through April, maintaining a flexible schedule to keep client properties safe during Alberta winters.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:

  • Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of grading, drainage, and multi-scope installation standards (hardscape, softscape, and technical water features); strong understanding of OH&S requirements.

  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex landscape drawings; proficiency operating landscape equipment; familiar with digital field and job-tracking systems.

  • Abilities: Minimum of 5 years of landscape construction experience with demonstrated crew leadership; valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License; physical stamina for demanding outdoor labor.

Compensation & Total RewardsYour total rewards package is designed to support your financial well-being and daily success:
  • Signing Bonus: Earn a signing bonus starting at $500 paid upon successful completion of your probationary period!
  • Competitive Hourly Wage: Based on experience.
  • Predictable Paychecks: Through our Alberta Individual Overtime Agreement, we bank your busy-season extra hours to top up your pay during rain delays or seasonal shifts.
