Solutions Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect based in Canada.

This is a customer-facing technical leadership role focused on designing cloud infrastructure and MLOps solutions for AI and machine learning teams.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers transform complex requirements into scalable, high-performance cloud architectures.
The role combines hands-on architecture, infrastructure as code, GPU computing, Kubernetes, and Python development with strategic customer engagement.
You’ll lead proofs of concept, workshops, technical presentations, and training sessions while helping customers optimize their AI pipelines.
Working remotely from Canada, you’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal product, support, marketing, and engineering teams.
You’ll also contribute technical expertise to industry events, hackathons, conferences, webinars, and other community initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing architecture guidance and expertise throughout engagements involving cloud infrastructure and MLOps.
  • Conduct proofs of concept, workshops, presentations, and training sessions focused on GPU cloud technologies, AI/ML infrastructure, and industry best practices.
  • Work directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, effective solution architectures.
  • Design and document Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, technical architectures, implementation guides, and how-to documentation in collaboration with support engineers and technical writers.
  • Help customers optimize AI/ML pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and efficient utilization of cloud resources.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for customer use cases, communicating insights and requirements to product, technical support, and marketing teams.
  • Contribute technical expertise to marketing and community initiatives, including hackathons, conferences, workshops, webinars, and industry events.
  • Stay current with developments in cloud infrastructure, GPU computing, MLOps, and AI technologies to continuously improve customer solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5–10+ years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, Systems or Network Engineer, Developer, or similar technical professional focused on cloud computing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualification in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management, preferably Terraform and Ansible.
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes and proficiency in Python or a comparable programming environment.
  • Solid understanding of GPU computing for machine learning training and inference workloads, including GPU software stack components such as drivers, CUDA, and OpenCL.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a highly customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with HPC or ML orchestration frameworks such as Slurm or Kubeflow is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the broader cloud ML ecosystem and technologies from providers such as NVIDIA, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
