GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Seeking candidates with various areas of knowledge and Head Start experience to provide services in specialized areas such as administration, comprehensive services, program operations, and training and technical assistance for an upcoming opportunity.

The onsite position is located in the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start.

Head Start is a national HHS program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and families.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive relevant experience required.
  • Previous Head Start Central Office experience required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines and deliverables as well as manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation Range: The salary range provided is determined by market value, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications. Offers will be extended within this range, though not all candidates will receive an offer at the upper limit.

The upper end of the range is generally reserved for candidates who significantly exceed minimum qualifications and possess highly relevant experience, credentials, and expertise aligned with the final contract requirements.
