Description:

Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for working with customer stakeholders in the Brokerage department. The primary function is to schedule pickup and delivery appointments for customer orders. The position is hourly. This role helps support customer representatives and capacity representatives. The role supports the overall brokerage team in meeting KPI’s and goals established each month.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Interact with various customer stakeholders

· Interact with partner carriers to provide tracking and tracing

· Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM)

· Prioritize operational tasks throughout the day

· Focus on attention to detail

· Rely on sense of urgency around time sensitive requests

· Request pick-up and delivery appointments (phone, email, and websites)

· Rely on individual critical thinking skills to assist with day-to-day logistics events

· Work with direct manager to provide customer quotes

· Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· Associate’s Degree or above

· 0-1 years experience in logistics or transportation

· Competency in Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent geographical knowledge

· Good organizational, verbal, and written skills a must.

· Ability to focus and multi-task, detail oriented.
