This role serves as a strategic recruiting advisor and subject matter expert, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and attract high-quality talent. You will manage recruiting activities across the full hiring lifecycle, from defining roles and sourcing candidates to interviewing, offers, and onboarding. The position combines relationship management, recruitment strategy, employer branding, and data-driven talent acquisition. - Serve as the primary point of contact and talent acquisition subject matter expert for hiring managers, advising them throughout the recruiting process.
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, finalize job descriptions and advertisements, establish sourcing strategies, develop screening questions, and coordinate interview teams.
- Manage candidate activity and maintain accurate recruiting data and records within the iCIMS applicant tracking system.
- Research and implement cost-effective recruitment strategies using online recruiting platforms, social media, data-mining techniques, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews, assess talent, facilitate the selection process, and support offer negotiations.
- Develop innovative approaches to attract and engage candidates, including recruitment marketing, employer branding, video job advertisements, and introductory content.
- Maintain and promote the employee referral program, including administration of referral bonus payouts.
- Establish, document, and maintain recruiting policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Attend university events and conferences as needed, with approximately 20% travel required.
- Provide regular updates to managers and leaders regarding open positions, recruiting challenges, candidate pipelines, offers, and other hiring metrics.
- Monitor and communicate key recruiting performance indicators, including openings, fills, pending offers, and time-to-fill.
- Partner with onboarding teams to support a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.
- Share process feedback and document recruitment changes for Talent, HR Business Partners, and hiring stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and contribute to continuous improvements across the talent acquisition function.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information and ensure sensitive data is appropriately protected.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4–6 years of recruiting experience, preferably within healthcare and/or physical therapy environments.
- Demonstrated experience interviewing, assessing candidates, and supporting or negotiating employment offers.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, with the ability to maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, employer branding, employee referrals, and candidate engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, interview teams, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and provide practical recruiting solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple open positions and competing priorities.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Collaborative, transparent, results-oriented approach with strong teamwork skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and a willingness to receive feedback, learn, and continuously improve.
- Compensation of $38–$43 per hour, with the posted range reflecting factors such as experience, background, and work location.
