Job Description

About PBACO

Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization (PBACO) is one of the nation's leading accountable care organizations, partnering with physicians, specialists, and post-acute providers to deliver high-quality, value-based care.

About the Role

PBACO is growing, and so is our provider network. We're looking for a Network Development Specialist to help expand our network of physicians, specialists, preferred providers, and post-acute partners across existing and developing markets.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Vice President of Network Expansion. You'll own assigned prospects from first outreach through onboarding — identifying opportunities, conducting introductory calls with physicians and facility leadership, building relationships, and coordinating credentialing and onboarding so new partners integrate smoothly into PBACO.

It's an ideal opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and relationship-driven, and who wants to grow into increasing ownership within a fast-expanding department in the value-based care space.

What You'll Do

Provider Recruitment & Outreach

  • Research and identify prospective physicians, provider groups, specialists, and facilities in targeted PBACO markets
  • Conduct outbound outreach and independently lead introductory calls, presenting PBACO's programs, network opportunities, and participation pathways
  • Qualify opportunities, determine next steps, and escalate strategic or high-value prospects to the VP of Network Expansion
  • Maintain accurate pipelines, call notes, and consistent follow-up throughout the recruitment process

Preferred Provider & Post-Acute Network Development

  • Identify and engage skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, home health organizations, hospitals, and other post-acute partners
  • Build relationships with facility administrators, operators, and clinical leadership through calls, meetings, and presentations
  • Help identify network gaps and development opportunities within targeted markets

Credentialing & Enrollment Support

  • Coordinate provider and facility credentialing, enrollment, and onboarding documentation
  • Manage Skilled Nursing Facility waiver submissions within the ACO Management System (ACO-MS), tracking status, approvals, and outstanding items
  • Proactively monitor credentialing items to prevent delays, coordinating with facilities and internal departments

Agreements & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) process end to end — tracking signatures, routing for countersignature, and maintaining executed agreements
  • Serve as the point of contact for newly recruited groups and facilities throughout onboarding, guiding them through documentation, agreements, and required meetings
  • Monitor onboarding progress, remove barriers, and facilitate organized handoffs to operational and provider-relations teams

Relationship Management

  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned provider and facility relationships, maintaining regular communication and coordinating follow-up meetings and visits
  • Identify concerns or opportunities within relationships and escalate when appropriate

Departmental & Field Support

  • Provide project support to the VP of Network Expansion, including meeting coordination, presentations, reports, and pipeline trackers
  • Travel to PBACO markets for in-person provider and facility meetings, market-development initiatives, and industry events
  • Professionally represent PBACO in external meetings and events
What You'll Bring

Required

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, with confidence conducting calls with physicians, administrators, and healthcare executives
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple prospects, projects, and deadlines
  • Comfort with outbound outreach and building new professional relationships
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Healthcare experience in provider relations, physician recruitment, credentialing, practice administration, post-acute care, healthcare operations, or network development
  • Credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience
  • Familiarity with ACO-MS, Medicare provider enrollment, SNF operations, or value-based care environments
Why Join PBACO
  • Direct mentorship and visibility with senior leadership
  • Real ownership of your pipeline and relationships from day one
  • A clear growth path as the Network Expansion department scales
  • Benefits: health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, etc.
