Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S

Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing processes for system enhancements and new business products and processes encompassing all aspects of operations including but not limited to claims, bills, rules, provider contracts, and product and system enhancements.


Responsibilities:

  • Completes comprehensive test conditions and test cases for system enhancements and new business products and processes.
  • Follows standardized best practices for documenting and executing simple to moderately complex test plans, includes testing for bill review SOPs & rules, invoicing/fees, AuditPro, Networks, etc.
  • Validates test results, documents discrepancies and follows through with resolutions to ensure all issues are resolved. Reports progress of problem resolution to management.
  • Serves as liaison between the system end users and the IT team.
  • Serves as technical resource for assigned area.
  • Identifies differences between organization standards and user applications. Suggests modifications to conform to standards.
  • Performs other duties as required



Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous (2+ years) experience in a quality assurance and/or testing environment.
  • Broad knowledge of Medical terminology, claims, customary and reasonable cost containment,
  • coordination of benefits, diagnosis coding, and general customer service sources.
  • Previous system processing, payment, and benefits knowledge, preferred.
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, analysis, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $22.00 - $30.00 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
