This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Managing Immigration Attorney/Of Counsel – (B2B - Corporate Practice) based in United States.

This is a senior legal leadership opportunity for an experienced immigration attorney who wants to combine sophisticated legal practice with meaningful team leadership.
The role will oversee a dedicated pod responsible for delivering high-quality employment-based immigration services to corporate clients.
You will own client relationships, case quality, team performance, and the overall outcomes of your practice group.
The position offers the opportunity to coach attorneys, shape operational standards, and influence how a modern immigration practice operates.
Technology and AI-enabled tools are central to the operating model, allowing attorneys to spend more time on strategy, judgment, drafting, and client service.
The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, commercially minded, client-focused, and energized by a fast-growing environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead a legal pod responsible for delivering employment-based immigration services across the full corporate immigration spectrum, taking ownership of team performance, quality, and outcomes.
  • Manage important client relationships directly, providing strategic legal guidance and maintaining a consistently high standard of client service.
  • Review complex matters and attorney work, exercise sound legal judgment, identify weaknesses, and provide actionable guidance to strengthen case strategy and quality.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor attorneys by establishing clear expectations, supporting professional growth, and helping team members progress toward greater responsibility.
  • Set performance standards for the pod and work with practice leadership to achieve volume, quality, service, and operational objectives.
  • Retain and motivate high-performing legal talent while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-quality team environment.
  • Partner with firm leadership to support organizational growth, strengthen the firm's market presence, and align the pod with broader cultural and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with talent and leadership teams on professional referrals, relationship development, and network-building initiatives.
  • Promote effective use of AI-enabled legal technology and operational tools to improve efficiency, quality, and the overall attorney and client experience.
  • Help shape evolving processes and technology by providing practical feedback based on firsthand legal and client experience.
Requirements
  • J.D. degree and active admission to a U.S. state bar.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with deep expertise in employment-based immigration matters for corporate clients, including a strong understanding of employer compliance obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing attorneys, with a track record of being accountable for team-level performance and outcomes.
  • Strong legal judgment and case strategy skills, with the ability to review complex work, identify risks or quality gaps, and provide clear direction to other attorneys.
  • Significant experience working directly with corporate clients and managing sophisticated, high-stakes immigration matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-management capabilities, combined with high emotional intelligence.
  • Comfort operating in a high-cadence, rapidly evolving environment where priorities and processes may change.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to make decisions independently and take responsibility for team and client outcomes.
  • A technology-forward mindset and willingness to use AI and modern legal technology as performance multipliers rather than substitutes for professional judgment.
  • Ability to balance legal quality, client service, operational efficiency, and business objectives.
  • A collaborative and growth-oriented approach, with enthusiasm for helping shape a modern legal practice.

  • Competitive base compensation of $185,000–$235,000 USD, depending on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and role scope.
