HR Manager Role in a Growing Manufacturing Company

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and partner closely with leadership in a growing manufacturing organization that designs and manufactures products used by fire, EMS, and first responders across the U.S. and globally.

This role reports directly to the President and plays a key part in ensuring HR supports both day-to-day operational needs and ongoing organizational growth.

You will lead a hands-on HR function while also contributing to people strategy, culture, and employee experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization
• Supervise and develop the HR Generalist, providing direction and support across day-to-day HR operations and ensuring consistent execution of core HR processes
• Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and performance management processes
• Oversee compensation planning, market reviews, and bonus/profit-sharing administration
• Administer benefits programs and manage 401(k) vendor relationships
• Ensure payroll accuracy and HRIS integrity (bi-weekly payroll cycle)
• Support compliance with EEO, OSHA, and all applicable employment laws
• Partner with leadership on training, development, and coaching initiatives

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience
• 5+ years of experience leading an HR team or function
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and core HR operations
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred
• PHR certification a plus
