Position Overview
The Senior HR Generalist serves as both a strategic and operational partner to business leaders, delivering comprehensive human resources support across multiple departments within a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role drives key initiatives in onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent development to align with business objectives and foster a high-performing, positive workplace culture.
Partnering closely with leadership, the Senior HR Generalist proactively addresses workforce needs, mitigates organizational risk, and ensures consistent application of HR policies, employment laws, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role requires a hands-on approach to managing complex employee relations matters, supporting critical talent decisions, and leveraging data to guide business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct HR support to multiple business units in a high-volume environment
- Coach and advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, and organizational risk to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to facilitate and lead onboarding activities across functions and ensure new employees’ onboarding experience is successful
- Ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and best practices
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HRIS data and employee records, and leverage systems for reporting and decision-making
- Support recruitment and talent decisions, including hiring, promotions, transfers, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and action planning to enhance the employee experience
Requirements:

- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible HR experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations
- Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, high-volume or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour)
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations issues
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders on performance management and organizational matters
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
