Position Summary
Valpak | Clipp is seeking a high-energy, coachable inside sales professional to help grow a new sales motion focused on leveraging data and insights to expand our most successful verticals into under penetrated markets. This is a full-time, in-office role based at our corporate campus, with client engagement handled by phone, video, email, and approved digital proposal tools. The primary objective is to identify top prospects, complete consistent cold outreach, sell Valpak Clipp advertising services, and own the client relationship from first conversation through renewal and growth.
This role is built for someone who wants more than a narrow SDR seat. You will prospect, run phone and video discovery, build data-backed campaign recommendations, close new business, support campaign execution, and help customers renew and expand. In short: own the phone, the pipeline, the proposal, and the customer relationship from first call to renewal.

The Advisor turns that guided inside sales motion into new customers, retained accounts, and repeat revenue.
What You Will Do
Prospecting & New Business · Build and manage target lists of HVAC contractors and other approved high-performing local businesses. · Execute daily outbound activity through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, voicemail, and structured follow-up cadences from the corporate campus. · Research prospects by service area, seasonality, competitive position, offers, and decision-makers. · Book phone or video discovery meetings, create qualified pipeline, and maintain accurate CRM records. | Discovery, Proposal & Close · Run consultative phone and video discovery around growth goals, service mix, geography, timing, budget, and campaign expectations. · Present Valpak Clipp solutions including Blue Envelope, Magazine, profile-based digital presence, call tracking, and related approved products. · Use proprietary tools to compare market opportunities, campaign scenarios, pricing inputs, and client-ready recommendations. · Coordinate proposals, pricing review, approvals, agreements, and internal handoffs through launch. |
Client Retention & Growth
· Own the customer relationship after the first sale through phone, video, email, onboarding, campaign readiness, communication, and follow-up.
· Review available campaign activity and performance indicators with clients after launch.
· Identify renewal, seasonal, geographic, and spend-growth opportunities after launch.
· Maintain high service standards so customers understand the value of continuing with Valpak and Clipp.
Internal Collaboration & Operating Rhythm
· Work onsite at the corporate campus and actively participate in training, outbound call blocks, pipeline reviews, and team coaching. Customer meetings are conducted by phone, video, email, or approved digital tools rather than in the field.
· Partner with sales leadership, creative, operations, billing, and support teams to deliver a clean customer experience.
· Use Salesforce/CRM and approved pricing tools consistently to manage activity, pipeline, forecasts, and customer records.
· Represent the company professionally and follow all approved selling, pricing, and business conduct policies.

Qualifications
Required · Prior sales, business development, customer service, hospitality, retail leadership, or other customer-facing experience. · Comfort with phone-first outreach and a willingness to make cold calls daily. · Strong verbal communication, written follow-up, listening skills, and confidence running conversations by phone or video. · Ability to work full-time onsite at the corporate campus while selling to clients remotely through phone, video, email, and digital proposal tools. · Ability to learn sales tools, CRM systems, product offerings, and pricing guidelines. | Preferred · 1-4 years of B2B sales, SDR/BDR, inside sales, media sales, marketing, SaaS, or local business sales experience. · Experience selling to small or mid-sized businesses, contractors, home-service companies, or owner-operated businesses. · Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, sales engagement tools, or structured outbound cadences. · Interest in advertising, direct mail, local marketing, home services, HVAC, or neighborhood-based business growth. · Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred, not required. |
How Success Will Be Measured
Activity | Consistent outbound calls, emails, follow-ups, and CRM hygiene. |
Pipeline | Qualified phone/video meetings, proposals created, decision-maker engagement, and forecast accuracy. |
New Business | New customer contracts and first-contract revenue from targeted industries. |
Existing Business | Renewals, subsequent contracts, campaign follow-through, and relationship health after the first sale. |
Collected Revenue | Revenue collected from eligible new and existing customers, which supports commission and bonus opportunity under the approved plan. |
Ramp Expectations
First 2 Weeks | Learn Valpak Clipp offerings, target categories, CRM workflow, sales process, talk tracks, and outreach expectations. |
Days 15-60 | Build target lists, complete high-volume outbound call and email activity, book phone/video discovery calls, shadow proposal reviews, and begin creating client-ready recommendations. |
First 90 Days | Own an active pipeline, deliver proposals, close early new business opportunities, and support campaign setup through internal handoff. |
First 12 Months | Build a healthy book of prospects and customers, retain and grow accounts after launch, and become a trusted inside sales advisor for selected industries. |
