Job Summary: Performs all functions related to sterile processing and surgical case cart processing in accordance with established standards. These functions include, but are not limited to, decontamination, surgical instrument processing, instrument/instrument set assembly, sterilization, surgical case cart assembly and medical equipment cleaning/disinfection. Personally responsible for obtaining CEU's, bookkeeping and applications to maintain professional Certification.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• Certified (and maintains) Instrument Technician Certification (i.e. CRCST or CBSPD) or related equivalent certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to follow written instructions, ability to use computers and other mechanical equipment.
