Compensation: $200 – $250 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview
CEC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Neurologist to provide specialized care to patients at our Bethpage location. This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Conduct patient assessments including medical history, examinations, and necessary procedures
- Ensure patients and caregivers receive clear follow-up instructions and care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing staff and direct care providers
- Coordinate referrals within CEC for specialty services and consultations
- Participate in care coordination with internal clinicians to ensure continuity of care
- Support efficient patient flow and clinic operations
- Be available for occasional after-hours consultations or emergencies, as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO with current licensure in New York State
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Active DEA license
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work with persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Valid malpractice coverage (provided by CEC for W-2 employees)
Preferred:
- Experience in developmental, behavioral, or neurodevelopmental Neurology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Schedule & Work Environment
- 1 full day per week (flexible scheduling based on provider availability)
