Senior Manager, Sales Training & Enablement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Training & Enablement based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Strategy, and Learning & Development, driving how global sales teams are trained, enabled, and supported to perform at scale. You will own the end-to-end sales training strategy, shaping how knowledge, tools, and messaging are translated into high-impact learning experiences. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder, you will partner closely with senior Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing to identify capability gaps and design programs that directly improve performance outcomes. The role is highly cross-functional, influencing revenue growth through structured enablement programs and continuous learning initiatives. You will also lead and develop a team responsible for executing training programs across multiple levels of the organization. This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct impact on sales effectiveness, productivity, and organizational alignment.

Accountabilities:

Lead the design and execution of the global Sales Learning & Development strategy, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual revenue and performance goals, while continuously refining training priorities based on business needs.

  • Own and evolve the sales training vision, operating model, and success metrics across global teams
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify capability gaps and translate them into structured training programs
  • Oversee development and delivery of onboarding, ongoing training, and advanced sales enablement programs
  • Manage and mentor a team of L&D professionals, ensuring strong performance, skill development, and clear accountability
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to develop effective training content, messaging, and sales collateral
  • Define KPIs, OKRs, and reporting frameworks to measure training effectiveness and business impact
  • Act as a hands-on contributor in building training materials, facilitating sessions, and improving learning assets
Requirements:

Experienced sales enablement leader with a strong background in Sales Training, Learning & Development, or Sales Operations within SaaS environments. Proven ability to lead teams, design scalable training programs, and work directly with senior stakeholders to influence business outcomes.

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Enablement, or Sales Training roles
  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS organizations
  • 2+ years of people management experience leading enablement or training teams
  • Strong experience using Sales Enablement platforms such as Highspot or similar LMS tools
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce and sales processes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications in Sales Enablement, Salesforce, or related tools are a plus
