The core responsibilities of this role include: The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company property, employees, visitors, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security procedures, responding to incidents, and reporting suspicious activities.

-Position: Third (3rd) Shift Security

-Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am, Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Sunday

-Pay: $21.75 per hour (+shift differential)

-Eligible for attendance bonus

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Customer Service
• Control access to facilities by verifying identification and visitor credentials.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized access.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Capability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Role Purpose:

Secure the facilities and grounds during assigned hours

Key Accountabilities:

• Make exterior and interior checks of the building(s) and grounds.
• Preserves order and enforces security regulations.
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, etc.
• Check personnel for proper identification and clearance.
• Perform others duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 year experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
