Legal / compliance Evaluator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal / Compliance Evaluator based in United States.

This is a remote, flexible contract opportunity for an experienced legal or compliance professional contributing directly to the evaluation of AI-generated work.
You will use your subject-matter expertise to assess documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for accuracy, rigor, and professional quality.
The role combines legal and compliance knowledge with critical evaluation and structured written feedback.
You will identify factual, formatting, aesthetic, and presentation issues against defined domain-specific quality standards.
The position offers the opportunity to help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated professional content.
It is designed for an independent, detail-oriented expert who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
The engagement is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling with hourly compensation.

Accountabilities
  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against established legal and compliance quality rubrics.
  • Apply professional subject-matter expertise to assess the accuracy, rigor, relevance, and overall quality of AI-generated work products.
  • Identify factual inaccuracies, compliance-related issues, presentation weaknesses, formatting problems, and aesthetic inconsistencies.
  • Review outputs carefully and consistently, ensuring assessments align with applicable evaluation criteria.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback explaining identified issues and areas for improvement.
  • Use strong professional judgment to distinguish substantive quality concerns from minor presentation issues.
  • Contribute to improving the reliability, usefulness, and professional quality of AI-generated content through rigorous evaluation.
  • Complete assigned projects independently while meeting expected quality and delivery standards.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Legal or Compliance.
  • Native or professional-level fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess professional materials for factual accuracy, rigor, clarity, and quality.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Ability to provide concise, structured, and constructive written feedback.
  • Strong professional judgment and the ability to consistently apply domain-specific evaluation criteria.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assignments effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master’s degree or higher, from a reputable institution is preferred.
  • Must be able to work as an independent contractor.
  • Candidates requiring H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship are not currently supported for this opportunity.
