Director, Client Coding Integration

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Client Coding Integration based in United States.

This senior leadership role will shape enterprise-wide coding integration strategy within a technology-enabled healthcare revenue cycle environment.
You will align coding integration initiatives with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
The role partners closely with senior executives and client leaders to define priorities, strengthen performance, and drive operational excellence.
You will establish scalable policies, standards, workflows, and best practices across multiple coding teams and functions.
Using performance data and market insights, you will identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
The position also provides strategic direction on complex integration challenges while strengthening client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
This is a fully remote, high-impact opportunity for an experienced healthcare revenue cycle leader who thrives in collaborative, transformation-focused environments.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement enterprise-level strategies for client coding integration that support business objectives, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and client needs.
  • Partner with senior executives and client leadership to establish integration priorities, objectives, success measures, and long-term roadmaps.
  • Define and maintain coding integration policies, standards, processes, and best practices across multiple teams and operational environments.
  • Analyze coding performance metrics, operational data, client feedback, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Direct the resolution of complex, high-impact coding integration challenges, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation and sustainable solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving coding, revenue cycle operations, technology, client services, compliance, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Optimize coding workflows and integration models to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and overall client experience.
  • Establish performance expectations and governance mechanisms to monitor integration effectiveness and drive accountability.
  • Develop long-term workforce, resource, and talent strategies aligned with evolving coding integration requirements.
  • Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies and improved operating practices to strengthen coding integration capabilities.
Requirements
  • Significant leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical coding, coding operations, or a closely related healthcare services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise-level strategies across complex, multi-team or multi-client operations.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding operations, revenue cycle workflows, compliance considerations, and the integration of coding services within healthcare organizations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives, client leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish priorities and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate operational data, performance metrics, and market trends into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives, resolving high-impact operational challenges, and implementing sustainable process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong change-management capabilities and an ability to promote innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing resource plans, workforce strategies, and talent-development approaches to support long-term organizational objectives.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.
