Dovida is Ireland's largest home support provider, and our Enhanced Home Support Services team delivers specialist, nurse-led care to people with spinal cord injury, complex medication needs and other complex conditions enabling them to live independently at home instead of in acute or step-down care.

We're now hiring a Regional Nurse to lead clinical delivery across Dublin, Meath, Louth and Wicklow a newly created post that will work with our growing national team.

What you'll do

  • Provide clinical leadership for Enhanced clients across your region: assessment, transition planning, care planning and ongoing review
  • Train, competency-assess and delegate approved clinical tasks (e.g. neurogenic bowel & bladder care, catheter care, complex medication administration) to Home Healthcare Assistants
    • Lead safe discharge planning from acute/step-down settings, liaising with hospital teams, NRH and primary care
    • Conduct quality assurance visits and support the service's audit and governance activity
    • Deliver hands-on care directly where needed, particularly during a client's transition home

    What we're looking for

    • General Nursing qualification with active NMBI registration (essential)
    • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (essential)
    • Experience delivering care to complex clients e.g. spinal cord injury, ABI, respiratory support (essential)
    • NRH course in the management of neurogenic bowel care, or equivalent, and a train-the-trainer qualification (desirable training provided if not already held)
    • Full clean driving licence
    • Comfortable using ICT systems for clinical documentation
    • Availability across weekends from time to time

    What we offer

    • 0.5 WTE, with flexibility around how this is worked
    • A genuine opportunity to shape a new service that is scaling nationally
    • Ongoing CPD and a peer learning network,
    • Salary commensurate with experience

Participation in an on-call rota is required this covers only the hours our Home Healthcare Assistants are actively delivering care, not 24/7.

If you want a nursing role built around leadership, delegation and real client impact rather than bedside shifts alone, we'd love to hear from you.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to providing reasonable accommodation throughout the recruitment and selection process. If you require any adjustments, please let us know and we will work with you to support your application.
