This is not a desk-only management position. You’ll be actively involved in recruiting, training, coaching, sales meetings, ride-alongs, performance management, and developing your team’s book of business, while maintaining your own book of business as well.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, lead, motivate, and maintain a successful sales team
• Establish accountability and coach team members toward individual and company sales goals
• Conduct ride-along appointments to identify opportunities for improvement and provide hands-on coaching
• Assist with field training and onboarding for new sales professionals
• Maintain your own book of business while helping your team develop theirs
• Create agendas and lead weekly sales meetings focused on sales process, product knowledge, role-playing, and professional development
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss performance, goals, and development
• Recruit, screen, and interview prospective sales professionals to continuously strengthen your team
• Track team metrics and present performance results to company leadership
• Serve as the first point of contact when members of your sales team need assistance in the field
• Maintain availability to support your team by phone, text, and email while they are working in the field
• Communicate company goals, processes, expectations, safety practices, and updates to your team
• Help facilitate communication between the sales team, leadership, and other departments

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of sales leadership experience for a roofing company.
• Proven leadership success with the ability to build, coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable
• Strong sales ability and the discipline to maintain your own book of business while leading others
• Effective coaching, teaching, and motivational skills
• A competitive, performance-driven mindset with a desire to win as a team
• Ability to identify performance gaps and coach sales professionals toward improvement
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively lead one-on-one conversations, team meetings, and sales training
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance personal sales activity with team leadership responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in the field, including standing, walking, and climbing ladders as required
