This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Business Operations Specialist based in United States.
This role supports the operational foundation that keeps a marketing organization organized, efficient, and scalable. You will help manage vendor and technology inventories, contracts, renewals, licenses, procurement activities, and operational documentation. The position offers broad exposure to Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, and other cross-functional teams. You will contribute to improving workflows, strengthening documentation, and ensuring stakeholders have the information and resources they need. The role is well suited to an organized professional who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities and creating structure. It also provides an opportunity to build expertise across Marketing Operations, Business Operations, Marketing Technology, Vendor Management, or Project Management.
You will help maintain the operational infrastructure supporting marketing activities while ensuring information, processes, and follow-ups remain accurate and organized.
- Maintain vendor, technology, contract, SOW, renewal, license, and ownership trackers to provide accurate operational visibility.
- Support renewal coordination, procurement requests, invoice tracking, purchase order follow-ups, and related documentation.
- Track vendor utilization and performance by gathering usage information, stakeholder feedback, renewal inputs, risks, and action items.
- Support SharePoint administration and governance by organizing libraries and folders, maintaining document standards, updating content, and improving access to approved resources.
- Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, templates, calendars, process documentation, and other operational reference materials.
- Prepare recurring business operations updates, trackers, and summaries covering vendors, renewals, licenses, utilization, SharePoint organization, and operational requests.
- Collaborate with Marketing, GTM, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, and external vendors to gather information, resolve open items, and maintain progress.
- Identify opportunities to improve organization, workflow clarity, documentation, and repeatable processes across the marketing function.
- Contribute to special projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to develop expertise in marketing and business operations. You should be comfortable coordinating multiple priorities, working with business documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders across different functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, business operations, project coordination, administrative support, vendor coordination, or a related function preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, documents, trackers, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work professionally and collaboratively across functions.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, shared files, and business documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, or Smartsheet is a plus.
- Curiosity about marketing and a strong interest in learning how marketing operations, technology, vendors, reporting, and project management contribute to business growth.
- Demonstrated judgment, accountability, confidentiality, follow-through, and a service-oriented approach to supporting internal stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new tools, systems, processes, and marketing operations practices quickly.
- Interest in developing a career in Marketing Operations, Business Operations, Marketing Technology, Project Management, or Vendor Management.
- Comfortable asking questions, learning from cross-functional partners, documenting processes, and identifying ways to improve how work is organized.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn the marketing function from the ground up.
- Ability to communicate information, solve problems, interpret data, make timely workflow decisions, maintain focus, and follow established processes and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and accurately while meeting productivity expectations.
- Ability to work from a dedicated, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet connectivity.

- Base compensation of $65,000–$75,000 per year.
