Accountabilities:

  • Manage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loss mitigation processes in collaboration with attorneys, investors, and servicing partners.
  • Oversee subservicer performance through audits, call monitoring, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to servicing standards.
  • Handle escalated servicing cases and provide direct support for complex customer inquiries and resolution paths.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation across all servicing activities in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, consistent, and compliant servicing execution.
  • Train and mentor team members on updated processes, policies, and servicing best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, systems, and servicing procedures through feedback and analysis.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, HELOC, or Home Equity Investment servicing, with strong focus on default and loss mitigation.
  • Deep knowledge of foreclosure processes, including end-to-end lifecycle management and title report interpretation.
  • Proven experience conducting subservicer audits, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to build structured loss mitigation strategies using financial analysis and case evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with investors, attorneys, and servicing partners.
  • Experience mentoring or training team members and sharing technical expertise effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA and HSA options
  • Unlimited PTO plus 10 paid company holidays
  • Fully remote work flexibility within eligible U.S. states
  • Fully paid parental leave with supplemental benefits and transition work options
  • Equity participation in a high-growth fintech company
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer support
  • Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Monthly stipends for internet, mobile, and wellness expenses
  • Home office reimbursement and company-provided equipment (including MacBook and monitor)
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture with strong focus on employee well-being and growth.
