WORK CONDITIONS Regular hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch, Monday-Friday. The majority of the work is done in an office setting. Scope of Work: • Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for customers throughout the entire sales cycle. • Identify and research potential customers and ascertain their best points of contact. • Conduct discovery calls and send email communications using consultative selling methods to gain insight into customer needs that will cultivate both new customer acquisition and existing relationships. • Coordinate and ensure the timely follow up and nurturing of leads to advance opportunities through the sales cycle and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline. • Engage former customers via different marketing events and efforts to generate new sales opportunities. • Ensure the Quote Log stays current with all RFQ and related information and that all quotes are provided timely. • Coordinate RFQ meetings and follow up with customers to ensure any identified information gaps are resolved in a timely manner and are communicated to appropriate internal parties. • Follow up with customers on open quotes to address outstanding questions or concerns and encourage their timely, successful closure. • Send quotes to customers and track sales metrics by updating the Quote Log and Estimate Log with win/loss results, call outcomes, scheduled meetings, and pipeline development information. • Perform periodic check-ins with customers to update them on their tooling projects and to ensure any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. • Aid in tooling project management by scheduling and participating in tooling design and quote meetings, creating/maintaining project Gantt charts, tracking project milestones throughout the build phase, and by notifying management when a project is at delivery risk. • Manage and maintain the company website, including updating content, revising text, and changing images to ensure accuracy and relevance. • Coordinate customer email communications, including developing or coordinating email content, maintaining current mailing lists, and tracking when campaigns are sent. • Manage the company’s social media accounts, including developing or coordinating content, keeping profile information current, and tracking posts and activity. • Coordinate customer sales meetings by understanding customer concerns, collecting internal talking points, and developing agendas and presentations designed to build relationships and drive growth. • As requested, orchestrate sales trip plans and activities in accordance with OTP’s travel policies. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above. • 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, business development, or administrative coordination (manufacturing experience a plus). • Must present a warm, inviting, and hospitable presence with the ability to build and sustain trust-based customer relationships to enhance satisfaction. • Demonstrate sound prioritization skills, ensuring timely opportunity follow-up and closing of deals. • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals and objectives. • Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. • Able to follow instructions and to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. • Adaptable to change while responding promptly and courteously to customers and co-workers. • Demonstrate critical thinking skills along with strong judgement capabilities and mechanical aptitude. • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Must be comfortable on social media platforms and willing to oversee webpage management. • Exhibits OTP’s values: We are honest.
