Position Summary
The Business Systems Manager supports ICP's business systems, CRM platforms, and institutional reporting infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role partners with departments across the organization to analyze data, manage system integrations, develop reporting solutions, and improve data accessibility for operational and strategic decision-making.
This position plays a key role in strengthening ICP's reporting capabilities, data quality, system connectivity, and business intelligence functions. The Business Systems Manager serves as a primary resource for institutional reporting and works closely with Development, Marketing, Membership, Education, Public Engagement, Finance, and other departments to ensure data is effectively connected, interpreted, and leveraged across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
•Create, maintain, and optimize database objects from various CRM and business systems, including tables, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures to support reporting and operational needs.
•Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools.
•Create and maintain SQL queries, semantic models, and data structures to support institutional reporting and analysis.
•Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather reporting requirements, develop dashboard solutions, refine ad hoc reporting requests, and translate business needs into actionable data insights.
•Serve as a subject matter resource on institutional data, reporting capabilities, and available system information.
•Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms and business systems.
•Serve as the primary technical resource for business system integrations and data connections between platforms including Raiser's Edge, HubSpot, AcmeTicketing, and other institutional systems.
•Develop and maintain standards for data quality, reporting documentation, and business system best practices to ensure consistency and reliability across institutional reporting.
•Develop and maintain processes for prioritizing reporting requests, managing project workloads, and supporting organizational workflow improvements through data-driven solutions.
•Collaborate with software vendors, CRM support teams, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and support organizational objectives.
•Document reporting processes, data sources, system integrations, and reporting definitions to support consistency and knowledge sharing across departments.

Requirements:Specialized Knowledge, Licenses or Certifications required:
•Experience with Power BI, semantic models, Microsoft Fabric, and related business intelligence tools.
•Advanced SQL querying and data modeling experience.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
•Experience working with CRM platforms such as Raiser's Edge, HubSpot, AcmeTicketing, or similar systems.
•Microsoft, Power BI, SQL, or related certifications preferred.
Education Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
Experience Qualifications:
•4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business systems support
•Experience working with CRM systems and cross-functional stakeholders
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
•Four (4) or more years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, business systems administration, or a related field.
•Experience supporting CRM platforms and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data governance and best practices.
•Experience developing dashboards, reports, and reporting solutions for operational and strategic decision-making.
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Compensation and Benefits
•Compensation Range: $68,000-$74,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
