This role is designed for an experienced business architect who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution within complex digital commerce environments.
You will lead SAP Commerce Cloud initiatives, helping organizations transform customer experiences through scalable and integrated solutions.
The position combines business analysis, solution design, stakeholder collaboration, and enterprise architecture expertise.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps, optimize commerce processes, and ensure seamless integrations across SAP ecosystems.

The SAP Commerce Cloud Business Architect will be responsible for translating business objectives into effective digital commerce solutions while ensuring alignment between functional requirements, technical capabilities, and enterprise goals. Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze, document, and translate business requirements related to SAP Commerce Cloud and integrations with SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and technical experts to design and implement end-to-end e-commerce solutions.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, define solution roadmaps, and align priorities.
• Support the configuration and optimization of SAP Commerce Cloud capabilities, including SmartEdit, Product Content Management (PCM), Adaptive Search, and Order Management.
• Ensure reliable integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, and external platforms such as payment providers, tax engines, DAM, PIM, personalization tools, marketing automation solutions, and web analytics platforms.
• Provide recommendations on SAP Customer Experience best practices, industry standards, and scalable architecture approaches.
• Support solution governance by ensuring consistency, quality, and business value throughout implementation initiatives.
• Contribute to digital transformation strategies by aligning commerce platforms with broader organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and technically skilled professional with strong experience in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, enterprise integrations, and business transformation initiatives. Required qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Business Architect with SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, modules, and implementation processes.
• Proven experience integrating SAP Commerce Cloud solutions with ERP platforms, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong ability to gather requirements, define solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing workshops, solution discussions, and client-facing implementation activities.
• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and regions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• SAP certifications in SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CX, SAP S/4HANA, or related areas are considered an advantage.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with SAP Composable Storefront.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Java Spring framework.
• Understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD) and Retail.
• Familiarity with SAP Customer Experience solutions, including customer data platforms, marketing automation, sales and service solutions, and retail industry applications.
