The International Logistics and Contract Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, overall governance of sourcing and executing the logistics movement of defense goods and services globally. This role is responsible for working with suppliers and customers while interacting with local, regional, and international governments for the coordination of product movement in the international market space. This position will be responsible for adherence to all laws, contract language, documents, and agreements pertaining to specific international contracts.

• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and program requirements.
Work directly with The US Department of Defense as well as any other international
defense organization responsible for specific international contracts.
Assist with developing and identifying sources of procurement, processes, and procedures for the Company as related to international contracts.
Plan and supervise the logistics for the movement of defense products and services
Assist in the drafting and negotiation the legal provisions of purchase orders to vendors
Act as contractual point of contact for all vendors and customer for specific contracts
Establish working and professional relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Identify and mitigate risk to contract performance within the supply base
Work with Program Management to strategically select vendors in accordance with
procurement policies and standards
Research and seek out new vendors and contracts
Assist in the source selection (competitive and sole source)
Participate in drafting proposals describing supplier/vendor capabilities
Ensure vendors and subcontractors are properly licensed to receive information from the company, to handle and ship the goods ordered
Conduct due diligence and qualification of vendors and subcontractors
In collaboration with the contracts function, ensure proper flow-down of requirements to all vendors and subcontractors
In collaboration with the contracts and program management functions, ensure vendor and subcontractor compliance with contract and/or regulatory requirements
Have a working knowledge of US Government FAR/DFARS requirements for suppliers
Manage and direct compliance functions and requirements per company policy

Qualifications
Minimum education: Bachelor'sDegree in Business Administration, Industrial
Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience
4 years’ experience in international logistics required, experience with Eastern Europe
specifically is preferred.
Experience in export licenses and transit permitting of defense products and services
Direct knowledge of working with domestic and international defense procurement
regulations
Experience in negotiating domestic and international contracts.
Understanding of compliance with the anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws applicable
in the United States (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Europe, and globally.
A minimum of 5 years of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain experience
FAR and/or DFARStraining and applicable experience
Applicable risk mitigation and compliance focused experience
Deep defense industry expertise
Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and
quantitative analysis
Flexibility to travel domestic and international from time to time

Physical Demands and Abilities

Travel, both domestic and international may be required based on business conditions.

Working Conditions
Work will be completed in an office environment and includes some travel to
customers, vendors, and trade shows. Workspace is climate controlled.
