Overview
The Janitor will ensure all common areas throughout the facility are clean and maintained to meet the company’s food safety and quality standards
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to 9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding and terminology of a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read routine reports and correspondence and comprehend basic English.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and apply practical sense to understanding and execution of detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to resolve and deal with simple to complex problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations within the production processing operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with handling of cleaning chemicals and OSHA standards
