Job Description
Geo Owl is seeking an experienced GEOINT Source Strategies Analyst to support a government customer in developing and executing advanced GEOINT collection strategies. This position supports mission-critical intelligence operations by integrating expertise across tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) while collaborating with analysts, collection managers, data scientists, and intelligence partners to solve complex intelligence challenges.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in GEOINT collection management, automated collection strategies, multi-source intelligence integration, and emerging GEOINT technologies. This role requires the ability to develop comprehensive source strategies that leverage traditional and non-traditional collection capabilities to support national security missions.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and implement GEOINT source strategies supporting intelligence requirements across the TCPED process.
- Support real-time and activity-based GEOINT collection operations.
- Manage and evaluate complex multi-source data to improve intelligence collection and operational effectiveness.
- Assess collection performance metrics and evaluate model output confidence and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and improve automated GEOINT collection strategies.
- Apply knowledge of traditional and emerging overhead sensors to optimize collection planning.
- Utilize inferencing methodologies to derive insights from temporal and spatial datasets.
- Coordinate GEOINT collection activities across geographically dispersed teams and organizations.
- Work within National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) collection management processes and collaborative environments.
- Develop comprehensive multi-intelligence and multi-source collection strategies to address complex intelligence problems.
- Conduct research supporting Information Need development and understand phenomenology impacts on both traditional and non-traditional GEOINT tasking.
- Utilize GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) and other NSG collaborative tools supporting GEOINT collection, production, and visualization.
- Coordinate with customers, collection managers, and source providers to deliver effective intelligence solutions.
- Support mission planning, operational assessments, and continuous process improvements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) of GEOINT data, including real-time and activity-based collection.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-source data, assessing model confidence and reliability, developing automated collection strategies, and collaborating with data scientists.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting GEOINT TCPED operations.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing large multi-source datasets, evaluating collection metrics, developing automated collection strategies, and supporting advanced analytic workflows.
- Knowledge of traditional and emerging overhead GEOINT sensors and collection capabilities.
- Experience with automated collection strategies and inferencing methodologies utilizing spatial and temporal datasets.
- Experience operating within program management environments supporting geographically dispersed teams.
- Knowledge of NSG mission focus areas, GEOINT collection management structures, and Intelligence Community collaborative tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive multi-source and multi-intelligence collection strategies.
- Understanding of Information Need development and phenomenology impacts on GEOINT tasking.
- Experience utilizing GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative mission teams.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a current Polygraph.
Candidates possessing one or more of the following qualifications will receive additional consideration:
- Experience developing or contributing to GEOINT training materials.
- Experience researching, evaluating, and documenting unique or non-traditional National Technical Means (NTM) sensor capabilities.
- Experience translating intelligence capabilities and operational workflows into learning objectives for training audiences.
- Operational experience working with vector data.
- Experience supporting advanced GEOINT tradecraft modernization initiatives.
