Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery involved in material windings, material slitting, material cuffing & sheeting, and wholesale production.
- Follow operating procedures and safety protocols for various machines in the production process.
- Using tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks.
- Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading materials onto machines and unloading finished products.
- Utilize equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks for material movement when required.
- Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives.
- Assist with packaging goods to be shipped.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Adhere to the health and safety guidelines.
- Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time.
- Additional duties as assigned within your department.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team setting and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Great attendance is a critical requirement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic Math skills – ability to measure and calculate.
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
