Training AdministratorPay Range: $25-28/hour
The pay range for this position is $25.00$28.50 per hour. This range represents the expected hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, demonstrated competencies, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements
The Training Administrator provides administrative, scheduling, documentation, and reporting support for training and operator qualification activities within the Gas Operations training function. This role supports training coordination, testing administration, records management, travel coordination, audit readiness, and communication with Operations teams. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, confidentiality, and the ability to support field employees, trainers, and operations leaders in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment. This position has the flexibility to work between our Cortland, NY & Syracuse, NY offices

- Effectively manages multiple schedules, deadlines, records, and administrative priorities while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and follow-through
- Demonstrates the ability to keep training activities organized and moving forward in coordination with Operations and Training stakeholders
Attention to Detail and Documentation Accuracy
- Maintains accurate training records, testing information, OQ documentation, rosters, reports, and audit materials
- Reviews details carefully to ensure information is complete, organized, and aligned with operational and customer requirements
Communication and Customer Support
- Communicates clearly and professionally with field employees, trainers, Operations leaders, and other stakeholders
- Provides responsive support for testing, scheduling, records requests, travel coordination, and general training-related questions
Compliance Mindset
- Understands the importance of maintaining complete, organized, and accessible training and qualification records in a regulated operational environment
- Supports audit readiness through consistent documentation, recordkeeping, and follow-through
Adaptability and Problem Solving
- Responds effectively to changing schedules, testing issues, employee questions, and operational needs
- Uses sound judgment, critical thinking, and resourcefulness to resolve routine issues or escalate matters appropriately
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in business management, human resources, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, schedules, and priorities
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately
- Demonstrated critical thinking, sound judgment, attention to detail, effective communication, and integrity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to provide occasional after-hours support when testing or operational needs require it
- Two or more years of professional administrative experience, particularly in a role involving sensitive or confidential information
- Experience supporting training coordination, compliance documentation, or operator qualification programs
- Pipeline, utility, construction, or gas operations experience preferred
