Description: Field Representative / Floater

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Department: Eligibility
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Full-Time, On-Site with Travel)

About the Role

PATHS, LLC is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Field Representative / Floater to support our healthcare clients from our Cherry Hill, NJ office, with regular travel to client facilities throughout the region.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, interacting directly with patients, and serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and community resources. The Field Representative / Floater plays a key role in assisting patients with Medical Assistance applications while supporting multiple client sites and operational needs.

Physician and Tactical Healthcare Services (PATHS), LLC provides comprehensive account receivable management, patient advocacy, and consultation services to healthcare organizations across the region.

Founded in 2000, PATHS employs approximately 400 team members across four offices in PA, NJ, and DE, supporting more than 100 healthcare clients. Our clients include hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, emergency departments, medical transport services, home health agencies, and behavioral health providers. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with applying for Medical Assistance and other benefit programs
  • Travel within an assigned territory to meet with patients and gather required information
  • Visit patient homes and communicate professionally with patients and family members to obtain information and documentation
  • Accurately document patient information and complete required tasks in a timely manner
  • Transport supplies and materials between client facilities as needed
  • Support multiple client locations and provide coverage where operational needs arise
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license, current car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to client sites throughout the region (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, organized, and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Experience

  • Medicaid eligibility experience preferred but not required
  • Experience working in healthcare, human services, or patient advocacy settings
  • Field-based customer service or case management experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Frequent driving and travel to patient homes and client facilities
  • Ability to enter and navigate patient residences and healthcare environments
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and driving
  • Occasional lifting and transportation of supplies up to 15 pounds
  • Reliable transportation required

Pre-Employment Requirements

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of applicable screenings in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. These may include:

  • Background check
  • Drug screening
  • Employment eligibility verification (I-9/E-Verify)
  • Physical examination, PPD screening, and required immunization documentation
  • Additional healthcare-related compliance screenings as required by client facilities

Compensation & Benefits

$20-$23 per hour based on experience.
