General Overview: Inspects and packs balls into cubes/cartons.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate bagging machine, feeding and catching.
• Ensure each order is accurately packed in a timely manner.
• Boxes bagged balls in dozen boxes, then in master carton.
• Operates shrink wrap machine for cubing..
• Pre stages baseballs for machine operators.
• Inspects/Packs ALL scenarios boxed, cubed, wrapped, ect.
• May be assigned to various other areas or departments when needed to meet company goals.
• As all other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Possesses the ability to read and interpret documents such as orders and instructions.
• Ability to write and understand reports and correspondence.
• Good knowledge of basic math; ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and combined box counts.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of dealing with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt and change as business needs change daily.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time; majority of the shift.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, shipping orders, packing specifications, labels, reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
