Position Description:
Saliense is looking for a Business Process Reengineering Specialist to support a fast-paced operational assessment of a client’s current-state operating environment. Duties include mapping and analyzing critical cross-cutting processes such as operational incident reporting and sector engagement, identifying performance gaps and their root causes, and helping draft recommendations for a high-level future-state operating model and process redesign. They will help develop stakeholder interview questionnaires, take part in and synthesize stakeholder interviews, support culture benchmarking against other public and private organizations, and contribute to the Enterprise Organizational Health Assessment.
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in business process reengineering, process improvement, or management consulting, preferably supporting federal agencies.
- Experience documenting current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes using standard methods (e.g., BPMN, SIPOC, swimlane diagrams) and tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Experience running gap analyses and root-cause analyses, and turning findings into clear, actionable recommendations to improve process, procedure, and tools.
- Experience designing stakeholder interview guides and questionnaires, helping facilitate interviews and working sessions, and synthesizing qualitative findings into themes.
- Experience supporting operating model design, organizational assessments, or culture and organizational health assessments (e.g., benchmarking, maturity models, OHI-type surveys).
- Experience producing polished client deliverables (assessment plans, briefings, recommendation reports) in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on tight timelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Clearance: Able to obtain and keep a DHS Fitness Determination (Public Trust); must be a U.S. citizen.
- Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Prosci Change Management, or a similar process-improvement certification.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
