SUPERVISOR,ENVIRONMENTAL SERVS in Lumberton, North Carolina at Southeastern Health

POSITION SUMMARY: The supervisor directs routine and detail cleaning, ensures high sanitation standards across the facility (inpatient units, offices, labs, restrooms, commons areas, grounds keeping, floor care, waste management and resident area). Oversees daily custodial operations, inspects and leads a team of housekeeping assistants, waste control workers, floor care technicians and Team leads.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful applicants must have organizational ability, communication skills and leadership skills is a must have. Highly proficient with basic reading, reading comprehension, writing, and have basic computer skills. Must be able to speak publically as needed or required Will conduct scheduled monthly inspections and random inspections. Must be able to perform under challenged situations and make decisions in a sense of urgency. Will provide full support with any disaster event as required. 1-3 years of documented management experience with supervisory and business-related training/course work.

Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience in professional cleaning management.

ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication during interaction with others. Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures and processes before being allowed to perform independently.
