Retail Warehouse Associate in Minnesota Lake, Minnesota at Heart Response Ministry LLC

Reports To: Heartland Outlet Manager
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)

The Retail Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise from incoming shipments, as well as assisting customers with purchases and supporting general warehouse and retail operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and customer-friendly environment, while also supporting volunteer engagement and training.

• Sort and organize merchandise received from truck shipments, price items, and stock the sales floor.
• Assist customers by pulling purchases from the sales floor and help load them into their vehicles.
• Assist those on the warehouse dock as needed.
• Support others with special projects or tasks as assigned.
• Help recruit and train volunteers with the above mentioned tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required

• High School education or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license.

• Strong interpersonal skills in working with different personalities and leadership styles.
• Effective administrative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to flourish in a fast-paced and highly responsive environment.

• Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and extended hours as ministry needs require.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain lift certification and run all necessary warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.

HEART Response Ministry is a Minnesota nonprofit organization that is exempt from contributing to Minnesota Unemployment Insurance. As a result, employees are not eligible for Minnesota unemployment benefits upon separation from employment.
