Production Associate - Full Time - 1st Shift in Winchester, Kentucky at Freeman Corporation

Looking for full-time work where you can stay active and be part of a production team? The Freeman Corporation is hiring production associates at our Winchester plant.

These entry-level positions support the production of wood veneer used by manufacturers of flooring, doors, hardwood plywood, furniture, and cabinets. Specific assignments depend on production needs, with current opportunities focused on veneer stacking and general production work.

What you’ll do

• Stack, feed, and handle wood veneer to support production
• Assist with moving and organizing materials in your assigned area
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Help maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work with your team to keep production moving and meet quality expectations

What we’re looking for

• Applicants age 18 or older
• Dependability and a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including handling and lifting wood veneer as well as standing while working, with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay and benefits

• First-shift, full-time employment - typically 7am–3:30pm with opportunities for overtime
• Benefits (health, dental, vision, life, PTO, 401K) beginning after 90 days
• Opportunities for a pay review and potential increase within your first 90 days, again after six months, and periodically thereafter
