Operating in a fully remote environment, you will play a pivotal role in empowering Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals and breaking down critical language barriers on demand. Utilizing a modern, web-based platform, you will deliver empathetic customer service while handling inbound calls with high precision and professionalism. • Audio & Video Interpretation: Deliver accurate, consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation in real time between German and English via a secure web-based platform.

• Inbound Call Management: Respond promptly and professionally to on-demand inbound audio and video calls across diverse sectors and scenarios.

• Client & LEP Support: Serve as a vital bridge for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community, ensuring empathetic, culturally sensitive, and high-quality customer service.

• Confidentiality & Ethics: Strictly adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, upholding rigorous standards of privacy, neutrality, and information security.

Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Complete, bilingual fluency in both German and English (oral comprehension, speaking, and written skills).

• Interpreting Experience: 1+ years of professional interpretation experience in healthcare, legal, or customer service environments preferred.

• Professional Certification: Industry-recognized certifications or specialized interpretation training (e.g., CMI, CCHI, or equivalent) preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including familiarity with web-based communication platforms, email applications, and basic office software.
