We develop our leaders from within, because the strongest hospitality companies are the ones that grow their own.ABOUT LEFTY’S:Located at ARRIVE Austin, Lefty's Day & Night is East Austin's best neighborhood patio bar — everyone's favorite place no matter what time it is, offering coffee, drinks, and tasty food morning, noon, or night.POSITION PROFILE:We're looking for a friendly Lead Bartender who's enthusiastic about making well-crafted drinks and forging authentic connections with guests at Lefty’s.THE TASK AT HAND:Understand the functional administration of the restaurant — stations, table numbers, food labeling, and more.Assist the F&B Manager in maintaining cleanliness standards across the bar and seating areas.Maintain prepped ingredients (syrups, batches, garnishes) to the bar program's standards — labeled, dated, and stored properly.Prepare all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, mixing ingredients and following recipes for each cocktail.Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks, checking ID to confirm legal drinking age.Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed, staying guest-focused throughout.Maintain complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu, and check that bar equipment operates properly, reporting maintenance needs.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Required2+ years of experience as a Bartender in a high-quality full-service or fast-casual environment.Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.Energetic, outgoing, and effective working with the team.Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.PhysicalRequires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
