Server in Chesterfield, Missouri at CarShield Sportsplex

The CarShield Sportsplex is seeking friendly, attentive Servers to provide an excellent dining experience at the Overtime Bar and Grill. Servers will guide guests through the menu, enter orders accurately, deliver food and beverages, process payments, and work closely with the kitchen and service team. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys people, moves with a sense of urgency, and stays composed during busy games and tournaments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, explain menu items and specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them promptly into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, courteous manner and verify order accuracy and presentation.
• Check on guests throughout their visit, anticipate needs, and resolve or escalate concerns promptly.
• Process cash and card payments accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and available modifications.
• Follow identification and responsible alcohol-service requirements when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain clean, stocked, and organized service stations.
• Communicate clearly with hosts, bartenders, food runners, cooks, and managers.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, and other duties during high-volume events.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, concessions, or guest-service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, listening, organization, and guest-service skills.
• Ability to learn the menu and point-of-sale system and handle basic math and payments accurately.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and priorities while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift or carry trays and items weighing up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, tournaments, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements for serving alcoholic beverages when assigned.
