Job Overview:

Harrison & Lear Community Management is seeking a detail-oriented and professional HOA Inspector to join our team. The Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of houses, condominiums, and common areas within homeowner associations (HOAs) to ensure compliance with association guidelines, maintenance standards, and community regulations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the communities we manage.

Key Responsibilities:

•Perform routine and scheduled inspections of residential properties, common areas, and amenities within HOAs and Condo Associations to ensure compliance with community rules and standards.

•Document violations and maintenance issues with detailed reports, including photographs and descriptions, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

•Communicate inspection findings with property owners, HOA boards, and management teams in a professional and clear manner.

•Assist in coordinating follow-ups and re-inspections to verify compliance and resolution of previously identified issues.

•Collaborate with community managers to address resident concerns regarding property maintenance and association guidelines.

•Monitor the condition of roads, sidewalks, landscaping, signage, lighting, and other common area elements for safety and upkeep.

•Stay updated on HOA policies, local codes, and regulations to ensure proper enforcement.

•Provide input and recommendations for improving community standards and maintenance practices.

•Maintain accurate records of all inspections, violations, and follow-up actions in the company's management system.

•Assist in special projects or tasks assigned by the management team to enhance community operations.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

•Prior experience in property inspections, HOA management, real estate, or a related field preferred.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance and compliance issues.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with homeowners, board members, and staff.

•Proficiency in using inspection software and mobile applications.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

•Knowledge of local building codes, property maintenance standards, and HOA regulations is a plus.

•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned communities.

•Physical ability to walk for extended periods and conduct outdoor inspections in various weather conditions.

Salary- $19.00 per hour for 30-hour work week pay schedule 15th and last day of the month.

Mileage Reimbursement - $200.00 per pay period

Cell Phone Reimbursement - $25.00 per pay period
