We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Collection Admin Staff professional to support the Indiana Department of Correction's Sex and Violent Offender Registration and Victim Services Division.
The selected candidate will be responsible for researching and collecting documentation, reviewing and analyzing information, communicating with government and law enforcement agencies, and accurately entering information into designated databases and web-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Research and collect court and related documentation.
- Review, analyze, and interpret information contained in collected documents.
- Communicate professionally with local and state law enforcement agencies and other government personnel.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in designated web portals and data systems.
- Research records and verify information for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized documentation and records.
- Handle detailed and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.
- Perform additional administrative and data-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with data collection, data entry, document review, or administrative research.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze and process detailed information.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfort working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience with government, regulatory, legal, or compliance-related documentation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of the Indiana Criminal Code, Indiana Department of Correction, or criminal justice system is a plus.
