POSITION SUMMARY

Reports directly to the Vice President of Operations or Regional General Manager and plays a key role in overseeing and managing all operations at our multi-client warehouse facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of multiple client inventories while maintaining superior service levels. Key duties include operational management, client relationship management, team leadership, inventory control, compliance and safety monitoring, performance tracking and reporting, and addressing any additional tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Operations, Regional General Manager, or upper-level management.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods for multiple clients.Develop and implement efficient workflows to manage diverse client requirements.Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization, safety, and efficiency.Operate and maintain proficiency in WMS, HRIS, and other business-critical systems required to support daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping.Client Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring service levels are met.Provide regular updates to clients on inventory, performance metrics, and compliance.Collaborate with clients to forecast needs and align warehouse operations accordingly.Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching to enhance employee skills.Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.Inventory Control:Ensure the warehouse maintains accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).Manage regular cycle count schedule and audits to minimize discrepancies.Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and enhance stock accuracy.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment.Facilitate Team Member Safety Committee to help drive an effective safety culture at the site.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround times, and cost efficiency.Assist in asset and budget management including budget projection, maintenance, inventory, and reporting.Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations.Prepare and present operational and financial reports to management and clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in a multi-client operation.Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse client needs.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team building.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehouse setting.Proven experience managing profit and loss (P&L) statements and budgets.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience.Certification in operating a forklift.

Varied working conditions between controlled and uncontrolled environments. Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work outside and inside; work around machinery with moving parts; work around moving objects or vehicles; exposure to dampness and humidity; exposure to slippery and uneven surfaces. Use of personal protective equipment may be required.
