Job Description

Summary
The Sam’s Xpress® Car Wash Marketing Team is looking to hire a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team and support the growth of our department. The Marketing Assistant will support the execution of marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and commercial business. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in daily operations including promotions, advertising, customer retention, loyalty, and B2B (Business to Business) initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the execution of seasonal and promotional campaigns across digital and on-site channels.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely production and delivery of marketing materials and promotional assets.
- Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and promotional schedules.
- Maintain Marketing Support tickets and work with the team to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with customer communications for ongoing and upcoming marketing initiatives.
- Help create, schedule, and track email and SMS campaigns.
- Monitor customer feedback and online reviews and assist with reputation management and customer follow-up.
- Ensure online business listings and location information are accurate and up to date.
- Help manage outreach efforts to local businesses for the Sam's Xpress® Fleet Program.
- Maintain Fleet leads and inquiries, follow up with prospects via email or phone, and schedule meetings.
- Support the onboarding and ongoing account administration of Fleet customers.
- Assist with tracking and reporting monthly marketing and promotional performance metrics.
- Assist with vendor communications, invoice tracking, and purchase requests.
- Support new location openings by coordinating marketing materials and promotional logistics.
- Assist with competitor research and monitor market trends.
- Provide logistical support for events, sponsorships, grand openings, and community activations as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and other departmental documentation.
- Maintain marketing files, digital assets, and departmental records.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to support department initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or the Director of Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Relations, or Communications is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, sales, or customer service role
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Comfortable with data entry, reporting, and analysis of data.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).
- Ability to travel to and attend events and engagements.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate events outside of standard business hours.

- This position will work at the corporate office as well as occasionally outdoors for some events.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible full-time schedule including working evenings and weekends as needed.
- This position may require some travel.
- Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation. Current hours of operation are 7days a week, 7:30am-9pm, closing only December 25th.
