Job Summary
Coordinates clinical and patient care activities among nursing units and clinical departments and services as a clinical resource, role model and educator for staff. The supervisor is the administrative representative of the facility while on duty.

Qualifications
Education

Required

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Nursing program

Associate’s degree in Nursing

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Experience:

Preferred

Five years of experience in Inpatient Patient Care

Five years of experience in House Supervision
Certification/Licensure:

Required

Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date

SAFE Approach Level III

Must obtain within six (6) months of start date
