Client HR Partner Ops

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client HR Partner Ops based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a strategic HR advisor, helping organizations strengthen their people practices and navigate the full employee lifecycle. As a client-facing HR professional, you will partner with leadership teams to provide guidance on workforce strategy, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations. You will combine hands-on HR expertise with consultative problem-solving to deliver practical solutions aligned with business objectives. Working in a dynamic environment, you will build trusted relationships with clients while collaborating with internal teams to support effective HR programs and services. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys advisory work, relationship building, and making a meaningful impact on organizational success.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned clients, providing guidance on people strategy, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Build strong relationships with client executives, managers, and key stakeholders through regular communication and occasional onsite visits as needed.
  • Translate business objectives into practical HR recommendations that support organizational culture, operational goals, and risk management.
  • Advise clients throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment practices, onboarding, job design, workforce planning, performance management, corrective actions, and employee separations.
  • Provide support on compensation practices, job leveling, pay strategies, employee policies, handbooks, and HR procedures within established advisory guidelines.
  • Guide clients on federal, state, and local employment regulations while identifying and escalating complex compliance matters when necessary.
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and HR operations teams to ensure effective delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Assist clients with benefits administration, leave management, HR systems, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Ensure HR practices and documentation remain aligned with service agreements, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Travel to client locations may be required up to 50%.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Active HR certification required, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, policy development, and strategic HR support.
  • Demonstrated experience working as an HR business partner or in a similar advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of multistate employment laws, HR best practices, and workforce management principles.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consulting skills with the ability to influence leaders at multiple levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion.
  • Experience working in a PEO, ASO, managed services, or similar HR services environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple client priorities effectively.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $119,200 per year, depending on experience, skills, and market location.
