Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Personnel

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Work Location: El Paso, TX

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Shift: All shifts, including nights and weekends

We are looking to hire Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Personnel to join our team in El Paso, TX. This position will support the Joint Interagency Task Force – Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC), which synchronizes interagency intelligence, planning, and operational support to disrupt cartel and transnational criminal organization networks.

The Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Personnel will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on the Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico
  • Monitor ISR feeds and provide direction to assets as required
  • Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate, higher, and adjacent organizations.
  • Obtains information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational information to make appropriate assessments to the appropriate decision maker.
  • Maintain metrics databases that track various missions, operational summaries, and other valuable Command updates.
  • Monitors ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.
  • Both in writing and verbally, provide reports to command and higher headquarters as required to provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.
  • Maintains and secure data on both NIPRnet and SIPRnet and ensure compliance with policies on levels of classification.
  • Production of official messages, requirements, and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
  • Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager in integrating all operational command systems.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • At least 3 years' experience and capabilities within a military setting for the successful execution of tasks associated with specific duty positions/focus areas.
  • Experience in managing a multitude of operations-related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.
  • Proficient in writing Intelligence reports as required.
  • Knowledgeable in Intelligence Community Directives and intelligence tradecraft.
  • Proficient with Maven Smart System.
  • Knowledgeable in Open-Source Intelligence Tools

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISR Tactical Controller Certification desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform primarily office-based duties, use standard computer and communications equipment for extended periods, and work all assigned shifts, including nights and weekends.
