Dietary Aide - Hickory Treatment Centers

Direct Report To: Dietary Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
About the RoleThe Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with prepping, serving, and cleanup of client meals. As well as the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Under the immediate supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide assists the Cooks in preparing/serving client’s healthy meals to promote improved health and well-being of all clients.

- Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions, census and needs of the facility.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation
Food Preparation & Service
- Follow the established menu by preparing and serving all food and beverages
- Prepare food items and share cooking duties with other workers
- Serve food for each special diet per physician order and in accordance with established standards
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Wash dishes and clean work areas, tables, cabinets, and ovens
- Participate in cleaning and deep cleaning as instructed
Inventory & Kitchen Operations
- Assist with food inventory and other assigned duties
Safety & Reporting
- Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Dietary Manager immediately
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and clients
$14.00-$16.00 hourly
